Frequently Asked Questions | Tracey Capone Photography

PROCESSING TIMES (TIME TO FULFILL YOUR ORDER):

Both prints, and wood mounts, are created upon purchase. Please note the following processing times (before they are shipped):

For prints and note cards, please allow 1-4 business days, starting the following business day, for processing.

For wood mounts, which require mounting and dry time, please allow 5-7 business days, starting the following business day, for processing.

These timings are simply standard estimates. I will make every effort to ship your items much more quickly than the timing stated. If you have an urgent need, please contact me at info@traceycapone.com and I will be happy to work with you.

TIME IN TRANSIT (TIMING ONCE ORDER IS MAILED):

Domestic Orders:

All orders are shipped, from Chicago, via US Postal Mail via First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the size and/or weight. Please note, anything over 13 ounces must be shipped via Priority Mail, per the USPS.

First Class Mail has a 3-5 mailing day turnaround and Priority Mail has a 1-3 days turnaround, depending on the location. These are estimates only from the US Postal Service. Delays can happen due to inclement weather; the tracking number you will be provided with the shipment will tell you the estimated date for receipt.

International Orders:

All orders are shipped, from Chicago, via US Postal International Mail via First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the size and/or weight.
Please note, some international shipments, depending on the location, take up to 18 mailing days for receipt. I will provide you with a Customs Number upon shipment.

You are responsible for any customs charges upon arrival in your country. I am unable to estimate, or collect, these upon purchase.

SHIPPING & PACKAGING:

It is my goal to get your order to you without issues and I package orders with great care in order to achieve this.
Prints, up to 11x14, are placed in protective poly sleeves, with chipboard, and shipped in durable rigid mailers. Larger prints, 12x12 up to 20x24, are shipped flat in poly sleeves with cardboard backing in high grade corrugated mailers. Enlargements, 24x24 and larger are shipped, rolled, in mailing tubes. (Please note, for International shipments, all prints, 16x16 and larger, are shipped in mailing tubes)

Wood blocks and panels will be shipped with protective wrap and padding, inside high grade corrugated mailers.

RETURNS & REFUNDS:

I truly hope you will enjoy your purchase, however, if you are not satisfied, I will exchange your items or refund your purchase cost (minus shipping)*. Please contact me within 10 days after receiving your order to exchange or return. You will be responsible for returning the items to me in their original condition, and the shipping costs.

*Please note, as print enlargements (20x20 and larger), and large wood blocks/panels (20x20 and larger), are very expensive to create, there will be a 40% restocking fee.

As mentioned in the shipping section, I take extraordinary measures to ensure that your items will arrive safe and sound however things can happen during shipment that are beyond control. In the event that you receive a damaged item, please save all packaging and contact me immediately and I will be happy to exchange it. It would be greatly appreciated if you can send me photographs of the damaged item and packaging as that will be needed to submit claims to shipping companies.

LOCAL PICKUP:

If you are in the Chicago area and would like to pick up your order, and forgo shipping costs, you are welcome to do so. I have a retail pickup location at the Andersonville Galleria (5247 N Clark St)

If you would like pickup, please select this option when checking out and the shipping cost will be zeroed out. Please be advised that the processing times, noted above, will be the same, however, once the order is ready, it will be dropped off for pickup at your convenience.

SIZING DETAILS:

All sizes listed are for the image itself and are listed in inches. Prints are sold unframed and without mats and signed and dated on the back. For a ready to hang option, please consider the wood mounted photographs (see below).

CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED ORDERS:

I welcome custom orders. Many of the images can be custom cropped from the sizes shown, offered in non standard sizes not listed or printed in black & white. If you have a particular size in mind, or would like a custom wood block, please contact me and I will help you in any way I can.

WOOD BLOCKS & PANELS:
